TEDxViikki 2025 is a call to action!
Our theme, “Amplifying Silent Voices,” goes beyond surface-level discussions on diversity, equality, and inclusion to activate real change.
This year, we are creating a platform where the unheard, the overlooked, and the voices marginalized to be heard. At a time when many organizations are backing away from DEI initiatives, we must find new ways to ensure true representation, access, and belonging for those who marginalized voices are marginalized.
This event will challenge the status quo, pushing beyond symbolic gestures to drive meaningful reform. How do we ensure that AI and technological advancements do not reinforce exclusion but instead become tools for empowerment? How can we create sustainable solutions that genuinely uplift underrepresented voices? TEDxViikki 2025 is about finding those answers and taking tangible steps toward a more inclusive society

Location and accessibility
The Museum of Technology is located on Kuninkaankartanonsaari at Viikintie 1d.
You can find the venue for TEDxViikki, the Energy hall (Energiasali) in the red brick building in the middle.
Accessibility: Threshold ramp at the entrance and a stair climber in the lobby.

Arriving by public transportation
You can easily get to the Museum of Technology by public transport directly from the railway station. You can easily find the right stop, as its name is the Museum of Technology.

Arriving by car
There is limited parking space on Museosaari. Kuninkaankartanonsaari’s few parking spaces are located near the gate and at both ends of Energy hall (Energiasali) building.
The Jokisuuntie parking lot is a nearby and we recommend to use that.
Please don’t park in reserved spaces or along the access road.
What is TEDx?
TEDx is a series of local, self-organized events that bring people together for a TED-like experience. TEDxViikki is a blend of TED Talks with global speakers that ignite thought-provoking based on life and professional experiences.
Our event will feature speakers who have experienced the best and worst of life. We fuse these stories to find the thread that holds us together. While TED provides overall guidance, the TEDxViikki event is independently organized.
